About the Company
Industria Maderera Pando (IMAPA S.A.) is a company dedicated to the production of hard and semi-hard wood of the finest quality since 1995. Our products are mainly used by construction and furniture companies. We are always interested in working with new clients from different industries and motivated to exceed their expectations
During our 20 year history we have exported products such as decking and lumber to the United States of America, Germany, Holland, Spain, the United Kingdom, China, Japan and others. Moreover, we have strengthened our production capacity in recent years in order to meet the demand of the Bolivian market for construction projects and locally recognized furniture stores.
Fundamentally important aspects for us are the sustainable use of forest resources and constant improvement of our production process by optimizing quality controls.
IMAPA S.A. counts with a logging concession covering 32,000 hectares of the Amazon rainforest in the department of Pando, Bolivia. We export through the ports of Arica, Chile and Manaus, Brazil.
We have two sawmills with a combined production capacity of ~1,300 M3 of logs per month, forest machinery, moulding machines and five drying chambers with an installed capacity of 400 M3 of lumber.
